Phill Fest Music will be a web site devoted to the music of Phil Fest and
Glen Reifsteck Productions. A new CD titled Smooth Edges is soon to be released featuring Ron Reinhardt on keyboards is due out in August 2008.
Their are 11 orginal smooth jazz songs composed by Phill Fest and Glen Reifsteck. One of the 2 unique cover cuts "The Wall" by Pink Floyd is
arranged in a funky smooth jazz arrangement with Phill playing a nylon string guitar against a
growling B3 Organ played by Ron Reinhardt with a heavy rocky drum and bass - "the wall unplugged" -
check it out. Phill Fest has appeared in concerts with Craig Chaquico, Eric Marienthal, Slim Man, Ken Navarro,
Tuck and Patti and Peter White.
We were so pleased to have Ron Reinhardt play keyboards, and synth on some of the tracks. Ron Reinhardt has extensive credits in providing lush and funky keyboard foundation for; Kim Waters, Steve Oliver, Ricky Lawson, Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, David Sanborn & Marcus Miller, Peter White, Oleta Adams, Brenda Russell, Jeff Golub, Warren Hill, Craig Chaquico, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Jonathan Butler, Steve Cole, Marc Antoine, Everett Harp, Paul Jackson Jr., Bobby Lyle, Brian Culbertson, and Paul Brown.

Stuart Johnson is a song writer and guitarist from St.Louis, Missouri. Stuart Johnson teaches guitar at Huelsing Music Co on 3129 Watson Road St. Louis Mo Phone 314-644- 0361. Stuart plays with a variety of musicians and groups covering rock, jazz and blues in the metro St. Louis area. One of Stuarts compositions "Lets Find A Dark Corner" is being considered for a track in an upcoming Hollywood movie currently being scored by film comoser Dave Williams is also from St. Louis.
The Stuart Johnson Trio plays jazz classics, rock oldies, and original songs in a decidely different and distinctive style, based on the unique finger-picking interpretations of guitar player and singer, Stuart Johnson. Scott Engel on drums, and Michael Prokopf on acoustic and electric bass make up the rest of this trio. These are musicians who have a solid, strong background in almost every genre of musical performance, and all are well respected in the musical community.
